The Material Handler is responsible for the efficient and accurate handling, storage, and movement of inventory within the warehouse to support the production and distribution of CPG products. This role ensures materials and finished goods are received, stored, and shipped safely and accurately while maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Receive, inspect, and unload incoming shipments of raw materials, packaging, and finished goods.
Accurately record and label incoming and outgoing inventory in the warehouse management system.
Pick, pack, and stage products for production or customer orders.
Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
Maintain organized and clean warehouse areas, including storage racks, shelves, and workstations.
Monitor inventory levels and report discrepancies or low stock to supervisors.
Assist with cycle counts and periodic inventory audits.
Follow safety guidelines, company policies, and standard operating procedures at all times.
Support team members and cross-functional departments as needed.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Previous warehouse or material handling experience, ideally in CPG, manufacturing, or distribution.
Ability to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment (certification preferred).Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and work in a physically demanding environment.
Basic computer skills, including familiarity with inventory management systems.
Team-oriented with strong communication skills.
Work Environment:
Warehouse setting with exposure to temperature variations, noise, and moving machinery.
Must comply with all safety protocols and use required personal protective equipment (PPE).Performance Indicators:

Safe operation of equipment and adherence to safety protocols.
Proper organization and maintenance of warehouse inventory.
Effective collaboration with team members and other departments.
