What You Will Do

Caterpillar’s Product Support and Logistics Division (PSLD) is seeking Warehouse Associates at our Denver, CO facility. In this role you will support our customers by getting parts from distribution centers directly to where they need them. Responsibilities include sorting parts, building protective carriers for engines, and operating equipment such as reach trucks and cherry pickers. This position is ideal for individuals building foundational skills in the warehouse, generally within the first 24 months of their career.

Responsibilities
  • Safely perform material handling and warehousing processes required for receiving, processing, storing, moving, packing, and shipping parts, materials, equipment, and supplies.
  • Operate handheld scanners to access and update information for receiving, counting, and order processing.
  • Be trained to operate cherry/order pickers, reach trucks, sit‑down forklifts, and overhead cranes/hoists (not all positions operate equipment).
  • Report defects and need for repairs.
  • Use pneumatic tools and/or power tools to build and construct wooden shipping containers.
  • Apply paint and rust preventative treatments as required.
  • Perform housekeeping functions as required.
  • Other duties as assigned by Caterpillar management from time to time.
What You Bring
  • Safety Mindset:
    Consistent use of required PPE and safety procedures.
  • Experience:

    At least 18 years of age; candidates may be recent high‑school or community‑college students.
  • Time Management:
    Reliable, on‑time attendance record; ability to reach productivity goals efficiently.
  • Adaptability:
    Ability to work in an environment with frequently changing temperatures; willingness to work overtime when required; eagerness to learn processes and procedures across multiple areas.
  • Collaboration:

    Promote teamwork and help others achieve shared goals.
  • Communication:
    Clear information sharing, listening, and problem resolution; proficiency in written and spoken English.
  • Thoroughness:
    Ability to perform quality checks, focus on accuracy, follow instructions, and use basic math skills.
  • Physical Ability:
    Lift up to 50 pounds, walk, sit, stand, squat, and bend repetitively; ability to work from a standing or kneeling position for extended periods.

  • 2nd Shift: Monday – Friday, 3:30 pm – 11:30 pm
