Warehouse​/Wire Cutter Associate - 2nd Shift

Shift

Monday – Friday, 11:30am – 8:00pm. No weekends.

• Perform wire cutting using reel‑to‑reel and coiler machines.
• Conduct order kitting and sub‑assembly operations to customer specification.
• Ensure transaction accuracy and set up parallels.
• Receive, pick, relocate, and put away wire and pipe; load pipe on trucks for delivery.
• Complete certification to perform Pulling Heads, if required by manufacturer.
• Assist with warehouse activities using an RF scanner: pick, pack, ship, receive, put‑away, cycle count, inventory, and process outbound audits.
• Coordinate with supervisor or manager on all value‑added services activities and performance.
• Proactively problem‑solve issues.
• Operate material handling equipment (pallet movers, sit‑down and stand‑up forklifts, high‑lift reach trucks, order picker).
• Maintain the warehouse so it is clean, organized, and safe for all employees.

• Reading and interpreting cut tags and comments.
• Using or learning computer software and industrial equipment.
• Verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
• Efficient work habit and meeting productivity standards.
• Basic mathematics and arithmetic.
• Use of contemporary merchandise processing equipment (hand‑held scanners) and warehouse systems.

• Minimum age 18 years.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to obtain and maintain forklift certification.
• 1+ year experience operating a stand‑up reach forklift, power pallet jack, cherry picker, or sit‑down forklift.
• 1+ year warehouse experience.
• 1+ year experience in wire cutting, CNC, machine operation, or production (preferred).
• Knowledge of warehouse terminology and practices.

Hourly pay: $22.50 – $24.50 with a shift premium of $1.25 per hour.

• Often standing, walking, bending, reaching, and stooping.
• Occasional sitting, talking, and hearing.
• Use of hands/fingers frequently.
• Work at heights up to 28ft with powered equipment.
• Continuous lifting of 1–20lb; frequent lifting of 21–50lb; occasional lifting of 51–100lb with assistance.
• Vision requirements: close (20in), distance (20ft), peripheral, and depth perception for driving equipment.
