Warehouse/Parts Manager – Denver, COResponsible for ensuring all branch receiving warehouse and distribution processes are handled in an efficient, cost‑effective manner. (For separation of duties, procurement is handled by administrator, manager and buying team.)
Responsibilities- Oversees all branch warehouse functions and manages warehouse drivers and staff; includes scheduling, approving timecards, performance management, hiring and administering disciplinary measures.
- Receives materials and services in EBS for all lines of business.
- Physically receives deliveries in the warehouse.
- Maintains, controls and upkeeps branch inventory; audits vehicle parts inventory.
- Maintains branch tool allocations, repairs and certifications; manages disposal of unusable tools and hazardous materials; schedules annual certifications of weights, fire extinguishers, hoisting equipment, etc.
- Performs shipping and receiving; coordinates with TK distribution centers.
- Administers the hydraulic oil control program.
- Maintains records of all oxygen and acetylene rental bottles; ensures proper and safe storage of these items.
- Assists in the loading and unloading of materials and supplies within the warehouse area; operates a forklift to move heavy material and physically lifts materials weighing up to 50 pounds; completes daily forklift inspection and audit log.
- Organizes warehouse for efficiencies and maintains safety and cleanliness; ensures shelving is rated for proper loading and the warehouse organization meets all qualifications of TKE Safety Policy.
- Performs general facilities maintenance.
- Arranges for the upkeep and servicing of shop vehicles.
- Schedules box exchange for scrap metal; evaluates scrap vendors for compliance with TKE finance policies.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Extensive knowledge of warehousing, logistics, inventory systems and control, usually acquired through two years of warehouse management experience.
- Previous personnel management experience preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
