Warehouse Associate

We help people sleep well by ensuring smooth delivery and storage of mattresses and accessories. This role receives incoming product, picks and fills orders, packs and ships orders, and ensures proper storage of inventory. It also communicates with customers to provide world‑class service and follows safety policies.

Shift

12:00 PM - 8:30 PM

Shift Days Off

Mid‑week days off.

Essential Responsibilities
  • Load and unload product from delivery trucks and vendor shipments.
  • Stage deliveries.
  • Store all product in designated locations.
  • Ensure inventory is dated and rotated per schedule.
  • Inspect products for defects and damages when receiving or shipping.
  • Obtain appropriate signatures on paperwork.
  • Assist in customer pickups, providing exceptional customer service.
  • Participate in inbound and outbound quality assurance processes.
  • Operate and maintain order pickers and warehouse equipment.
  • Operate other specialized equipment to move and distribute freight.
  • Maintain grounds by picking up papers and trash, cleaning parking lot and entrance.
  • Maintain stock and merchandise area; keep it organized and clean.
  • Ensure cleanliness of offices, bathrooms, warehouse floor, truck docks and aisles.
  • Remove trash daily by emptying trash containers, transporting materials to disposal area, and recycling.
  • Clean and sanitize product per company SOP.
  • Complete all required training modules and certifications before due date.
  • Follow all safety policies and procedures.
  • Communicate professionally with internal and external contacts.
  • Follow company policies on appearance and brand representation.
  • Communicate concerns or issues to leadership.
Non‑Essential Responsibilities
  • Execute company initiatives and other activities requested by supervisor.
  • Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.
  • Contribute ideas to optimize/improve the team, department, and company.
Education and Experience

High school diploma or equivalent preferred. 1+ year general work experience preferred.

Skills and Knowledge
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Time‑management; efficient completion of work.
  • General warehouse operations knowledge.
  • Knowledge of powered industrial truck operation and safety inspection.
  • Microsoft Office proficiency (preferred).
Physical Demands
  • Sitting frequently; standing frequently; walking frequently; talking frequently; hearing frequently.
  • Lifting up to 100 pounds; using hands and fingers; reaching with hands and arms.
  • Stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling occasionally.
  • Sight required to ensure safety.
  • Work occurs in a warehouse environment.
Scope and Supervision
  • Work is closely managed and reviewed for accuracy and adequacy.
  • Under immediate supervision, performs tasks per instructions, subject to regular performance checks.
  • Failure to meet goals can normally be resolved without significant effect.
  • Contacts primarily with direct supervisor and department group.

Compensation

Competitive pay rate of $20.00 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience. Additional bonus opportunities may be available for eligible leadership and individual contributor roles.
