Role OverviewThe Warehouse Manager leads all aspects of warehouse operations, inventory management, team performance, and internal logistics, with primary accountability for the safe, accurate, and timely provisioning of the train. This role translates operational priorities into clear objectives, aligns resources to business needs, and fosters a collaborative, accountable, and high‑performing team culture. Through effective planning, cross‑functional partnership, data‑driven decision making, and continuous improvement, the Warehouse Manager ensures operational excellence, regulatory compliance, cost control, and exceptional service delivery while supporting organizational goals.
This role is deemed Safety Alert. This position requires the incumbent to periodically access an active railway area where impaired performance could result a significant incident affecting the health and safety of team members, guests, team members, the public, property or the environment.
Key Responsibilities Warehouse Operations & Inventory Management- Lead daily warehouse operations, including inventory control, storage, material handling, and internal logistics to ensure efficient and uninterrupted provisioning activities.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts, audits, reporting, and reconciliation activities; identify trends and make recommendations for replenishment and stock optimization.
- Coordinate with procurement, logistics, sales, and operational stakeholders to align inventory, supply requirements, and service expectations.
- Establish, implement, and continuously improve warehouse processes, procedures, and best practices that enhance efficiency, accuracy, and service delivery.
- Participate in warehouse design, setup, and operational planning, determining product handling requirements, storage methods, equipment utilization, and workflow efficiencies.
- Utilize operational data and reporting to identify risks, improve decision making, and support business objectives.
- Provide leadership, direction, scheduling, and performance management for warehouse team members, ensuring work is prioritized and resources are effectively allocated.
- Create a positive, inclusive, and accountable work environment where team members feel valued, supported, and empowered to contribute ideas and solve problems.
- Deliver coaching, training, and ongoing feedback to strengthen capability, reinforce operational standards, and support employee development.
- Establish clear team goals aligned with departmental and organizational priorities, monitor progress, and recognize contributions that drive results.
- Oversee scheduling and payroll administration while ensuring workforce needs are effectively managed.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), inventory metrics, and operational outcomes to assess effectiveness and drive continuous improvement.
