Janitor 1st shift Plant

Monday thru Thursday from 5:00am to 3:30pm with mandatory OT on Friday and Saturday based on a business need.

Pay : $17.87 to $19.21

Perform a wide range of cleaning duties in an industrial environment. This employee will be required to perform heavy cleaning duties in a metals fabricating facility. Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs. as well as working from an elevated lift is required.

• 6 month janitorial experience.
• Ability to work a different shift if required

• Maintain the facility floors using a Tennant floor scrubber.
• Responsible for the maintenance, charging, and cleaning of the scrubber.
• Maintain plant cafeteria including daily cleaning of floors, tables, microwaves, and trash removal.
• Monthly cleaning of all refrigerators and cafeteria windows.
• Maintain all in plant offices including daily vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and trash removal.
• Monthly cleaning of all office windows. Some windows will require working from an elevated platform.
• Ability to work with industrial cleaning solutions in a safe and environmentally acceptable manner.
• Maintain six plant restrooms including cleaning of floors, toilets, and urinals twice daily. Walls, stalls and other areas are to be cleaned 3 times per week.
• Maintain all in plant hand washing stations including cleaning sinks daily and ensuring soap, paper towels, eye glass cleaner, etc is full at all times.
• Maintain break areas outside of the facility including sweeping and picking up trash in these areas weekly.
• Follow all safety rules and regulations.

Perform other similar duties as responsibilities necessitate or as assigned by supervisors.
