As a Full-Time Production Associate - Level 1 at Steele Rubber Products, you will be an essential part of our manufacturing team, directly influencing the quality and efficiency of our operations. Your daily responsibilities will include using job sheets to select the appropriate raw materials, loading and unloading molds, and operating a rubber press. You will prepare raw materials by drilling holes into extrusions and inserting clips, as well as trimming and finishing parts to ensure they meet quality standards.

Regular quality control checks, accurately recording production data, and adhering to safety protocols with proper PPE will be vital to your role. Your attention to detail and commitment to excellence will contribute significantly to the success of our manufacturing processes and the satisfaction of our customers.

To thrive as a Full-Time Production Associate - Level 1 at Steele Rubber Products, possessing a diverse skill set is crucial. Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in using basic tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, hammers, and pry bars, as well as scales and rulers. The ability to perform calculations with whole numbers, fractions, and decimals is essential, along with working comfortably with units of weight and volume.

You should be adept at following instructions, whether they are written, oral, or presented in diagram form, while maintaining strict adherence to safety rules and operating procedures. Attention to detail is critical, as you will be responsible for executing tasks that directly impact product quality. Additionally, physical capabilities, such as the ability to lift or move up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of 6-8 hours each day, are necessary for this role.

A high school diploma or equivalent is a minimum requirement for success in this position.
