What You'll Do as a Manufacturing Equipment Technician:
- During your first several weeks, you'll work side-by-side with experienced technicians while learning the equipment and maintenance procedures.
- Perform preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment
- Replace basic mechanical components such as sensors, belts, and other wear items
- Assist with troubleshooting mechanical equipment issues
- Perform basic electrical troubleshooting using a multimeter
- Use hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment safely
- Help minimize equipment downtime by assisting with repairs
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Work closely with maintenance and production teams to keep operations running efficiently
Skills and Experience:
- Strong mechanical aptitude and eager to learn
- 1-3 years of maintenance, mechanical, automotive, electrical, or industrial experience
- Ability to use common hand and power tools
- Basic knowledge of mechanical systems
- Experience using a multimeter for basic electrical troubleshooting
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a manufacturing environment
