Schedule Details/Additional InformationAmbulatory Float Position Qualifies for $4/hr incentive for hours worked in the role. Float will include providing coverage in Pre Surgery/OR/PACU/Endoscopy. Previous experience in PACU or Endoscopy is strongly preferred. Schedule will be on an as needed basis, with the understanding that some weeks will be full work weeks, and some weeks may only be 1-2 days that week.

Our new PRN float nurse position will include working in the areas of preop, recovery, endoscopy, and OR. Our patient population consists of adult GYN, general, sports medicine, and endoscopy, as well as pediatric dental cases.
You name it, you will get to see it and learn it! Experience in at least recovery and endoscopy are preferred, but experience in all areas is an added bonus. Caring for our surgical/procedural population will provide our nursing team with a robust and diverse skillset that gives nurses confidence in any setting. We encourage the pursuit of Clinical Ladder Advancement, professional certification, and strive to grow a strong unit culture of teamwork, commitment, integrity, and caring.
- Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
- Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
- ACLS required
- Previous PACU, Endoscopy, OR and or Ambulatory Surgery Center experience strongly preferred
- As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
- Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
