Technician, Refrigeration​/HVAC

Overview

Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician position at Walmart stores. The role supports and oversees repair within the Walmart Refrigeration HVAC equipment team and assets, using commercial HVAC and Refrigeration skills and various tools to complete jobs. • Maintain and repair Walmart facility's Refrigeration HVAC equipment and assets using commercial HVAC and Refrigeration skills and various tools to complete jobs.
• Utilize the work order management system to receive repair work orders for stores and store associates and document repair activities.
• Provide prompt response to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect, operate, or test facilities, equipment, or fixtures to diagnose issues.
• Complete all required training to operate equipment and tools safely.
• Ensure compliance with Occupational Safety and Health Administration and Environmental Protection Agency regulations by following Walmart Refrigeration HVAC safety policies and environmental guidelines.
• Lift up to 75 pounds, ascend/descend ladders, and work at heights frequently.

• 2 years’ experience in commercial Refrigeration HVAC maintenance
• Large Scale Rack Refrigeration Experience
• Type I/Type II or Universal EPA Certification for Refrigerant handling
• Valid state driver’s license with a clean driving record and ability to pass an MVR
• 18 years or older with a High School Diploma or equivalent

• Hourly wage range: $23.00 - $45.00 per hour. The actual rate meets or exceeds minimum wage; additional premiums may apply in specific circumstances.
