Part Time/Full Time – $16–$21 per hour – Flexible Schedule – PTO – Willing to Train – Uniforms Provided
The Air Duct/Dryer Vent Cleaning Technician position is an integral part of DUCTZ and is key to the growth of the company. All technicians must thrive in a high‑paced environment, work well both independently and as part of a team, and possess a technical mindset. Ideal candidates may have HVAC knowledge and demonstrate a strong ability to learn new technical methods.
Responsibilities- Clean and restore ductwork, HVAC components, dryer vents, and condenser coils
- Install dryer vent items, UV‑C components, and flexible duct work
- Apply anti‑microbial coatings
- Manage customer relations and ensure quality customer service
- Inspect own work at customer locations to meet or exceed DUCTZ quality standards and customer expectations
- Collaborate effectively with team members and perform assigned duties at a high level
- Properly use and maintain the DUCTZ service vehicle and all provided equipment
- Abide by all rules, regulations, and policies in the DUCTZ Employee Handbook, Safety Manual, and Employment Agreement, and actively participate in safety and quality initiatives
- Helpful to have a minimum of 1 year experience in a technical hands‑on field – HVAC, restoration, construction, or related skilled trades (not mandatory)
- Strong relationship‑building skills with diverse customers, partners, and employees
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Good organizational skills and ability to work with minimal supervision
- Effective team player and capable of working in high areas or confined spaces
- Valid driver’s license and ability to drive in compliance with company vehicle policy
- Bondable and insurable under company insurance
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
