Special Education Teacher; NJ Teaching Certifications

Position: Special Education Teacher (NJ Teaching Certifications Required!)
SPECIAL EDUCATION TEACHER - FULL TIME

Celebrate the Children School is pleased to announce that we have anticipated openings for full-time Special Education Teachers.

Celebrate the Children is a well-respected, non-profit, state-approved private school for children ages 3-21 with alternative learning styles that has been providing quality education services to the community for over twenty years. At Celebrate the Children our Special Education Teachers are surrounded by staff who are caring, compassionate and dedicated to our program philosophy. Though CTC is a state-approved private school, CTC still requires DOE Certifications.

Requirements for Special Education Teacher Include:

• CEAS or Standard Certification in General Education from NJDOE
• CEAS/Standard TOSD/SWD or TOH Standard Certification from NJDOE
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience working with the special needs population preferred but not required
• DIR experience is preferred but not required

A salary range is provided in accordance with New Jersey pay transparency laws. Final salary is determined using a structured salary grid, taking into account years of relevant experience and educational qualifications, and is subject to the maximum limits established by the New Jersey Department of Education and the discretion of the Board of Directors. The salary provided is for a 10-month contracted position.
