Registered Nurse - Obstetrics

• Responsible for the delivery of safe patient care utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.
• Provides direct patient care within the scope of practice.
• Directs and guides patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel while maintaining standards of care in the Birthplace.
• Responds quickly and accurately to changes in condition and response to treatment.
• Provides a safe environment for patients and visitors.
• Utilizes the chain of command when necessary to ensure patient well‑being and appropriateness of care to newborns and mothers during the antepartum and postpartum periods.

• Current and valid state RN license.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree preferred.
• BLS certification within 30 days and maintain current.
• NRP certification within 90 days and maintain current.
• Basic Fetal Monitoring upon hire within 60 days of hire and maintain current.

Saint Clare's Health offers competitive compensation and a reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $51.00. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
