Salary Range: $50,000.00 To $51,000.00 Annually

Sovereign Consulting Inc., an award-winning environmental consulting and remediation firm headquartered in Robbinsville, NJ, is seeking a GIT / Geologist / Environmental Scientist
with 0 to 5 years of experience for the Denville, NJ Office.

Responsibilities:

• Groundwater, soil, surface water, and vapor intrusion sampling
• Monitoring well, soil boring and log preparation
• Preparation of analytical data tables
• Report preparation
• Proposal preparation
• Ability to work individually and in a team environment

Requirements:

• 0-5 years of experience with a geology or environmental science background
• Experience with NJDEP regulations, guidance documents, and field stamping procedures
• OSHA 40-hourHAZWOPER Certification, current 8-hour refresher and/or Supervisor Certification a plus
• Demonstrated technical writing skills
• Clean Driving Record
• Occasional Overnight Travel
• Must have excellent communication, analytical, field sampling skills
• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Geology, Environmental Science, or related field

Salary will be commensurate with experience, education, and qualifications.
