Administrative Assistant

Description

Robert Half is excited to partner with a leading Real Estate company in the Liverpool, NY area on their search for an Administrative Specialist. This role focuses on coordinating commission and escrow closing for a 200+ agent team in various New York State locations. This is a Direct Hire position with a starting wage of $21 - $22 per hour, excellent overtime potential, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

+ Process real estate commission payments, escrow deposits, and daily bank deposits for closed transactions

+ Prepare, issue, and reconcile escrow disbursements in accordance with transaction documentation

+ Print, distribute, and maintain records of weekly commission payments

+ Communicate with branch offices, attorneys, and co-brokers to resolve transaction and payment discrepancies

+ Record and reconcile deposits for affiliated companies and provide supporting documentation to the accounting team

+ Maintain accurate transaction files and ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures

Requirements

+ Associate degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience

+ At least one year of experience in banking, accounting, finance, or payment processing with strong attention to detail and organizational skills

+ Excellent communication and customer service skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain confidentiality
