Service Technician

The key duties for which the employee is accountable are as follows:

* Performs component level diagnosis and calibration of high technology instruments.

* Able to update electronic and software for all Reichert products upon training.

* Work closely with engineering team concerning root cause analysis on warranty / field returns.

* Provides estimates for repairs for billable service.

* Occasional field service calls within country.

* Technical telephone support

* Performs technical trouble shooting and repairs on all Reichert made and purchased products upon training.

* May train other Service Technicians.

* Ensure that all equipment and tools are clean, organized and in good working condition to maximize efficiency.

* Keep work area organized and clean in accordance with 5S initiatives.

* Performs rework of product when instructed.

Position Requirements :

The education, experience, skills and training required of the employee for this position are as follows:

* 2 year Associate Degree required and/or minimum two years electronic instrumentation repair experience.

* Good communication skills

* Interaction with all related personal within company to perform all functions required

* Ability to interface with customers

* Basic computer skills to navigate and enter information into predetermined fields of controlled software accurately and timely as instructed.

Salary Minimum: $50,000

Salary Maximum: $60,000
