Key Qualifications- Active RN license in New York State; consideration for LPN/LVN with school experience
- Prior experience in school health services or pediatric nursing preferred
- Skilled in monitoring and responding to potential seizure activity
- Exceptional communication skills and the ability to work independently
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Provide direct care and monitoring for a student with a seizure disorder during transportation
- Ride the bus with the student on an A.M./P.M. split shift: 6:45-8:45 AM and 12:45-3:45 PM, Monday-Friday
- Remain vigilant for seizure symptoms and follow proper protocols if incidents occur
- Maintain clear, timely communication with school staff and guardians
- Hourly pay rates of $37-$40 for RNs
