School Registered Nurse

You'll be instrumental in providing personalized care and support to a student with diabetes, ensuring their healthcare needs are met consistently throughout the day.

This position begins immediately and runs through June 26, 2026. Enjoy a part-time weekday schedule, working 27.5 hours per week from 10:45 AM to 4:15 PM, Monday through Friday.

• Monitoring and supporting a student with diabetes throughout the school day
• Riding the bus with the student to and from their work-based program location
• Providing supervision, medication monitoring, and emergency care as needed during the student's work-based learning experiences
• Maintaining detailed health records and timely communication with guardians, educators, and school health staff
• Adhering to all confidentiality standards and school protocols

• Active New York State RN license required
• Experience in a school or pediatric nursing environment strongly preferred
• Strong knowledge of diabetes care management
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to collaborate with school staff, students, and families
• Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care

This contract position offers competitive hourly compensation, with rates for RNs ranging from $35 to $40 per hour.
