Finance Intern

Position Summary

The Finance Intern will support the Finance Department by assisting with financial reporting, budgeting, data analysis, and administrative projects. This internship provides hands‑on experience in healthcare finance while offering exposure to hospital operations, accounting processes, and financial decision‑making.

• Assist with preparing financial reports, spreadsheets, and budget analyses.
• Support month‑end and year‑end financial activities.
• Review and organize financial data for accuracy and compliance.
• Conduct research and analyze trends to support departmental initiatives.
• Assist with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and other finance‑related projects.
• Collaborate with Finance team members on special projects and process improvements.
• Maintain confidentiality of financial and patient‑related information.

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.

• Previous internship, coursework, or experience in finance, accounting, or healthcare administration.
• Interest in healthcare finance and hospital operations.
