Position Overview
Derby High School is seeking an ON-SITE Virtual Language Arts Teacher for the school year at the Panther Learning Center. The position supports both virtual and in-person learners.
LocationDerby High School – Panther Learning Center, Derby.
ResponsibilitiesSupport virtual and in-person learners as part of the high school language arts program.
Qualifications- Special Education Certification Preferred.
- Required to obtain an ESOL endorsement by the end of the third year with the district.
PTO and paid parental leave
. Salary is based on experience and education and ranges from $50,003 to $85,354. The regular teacher contract is 184.5 days.
The Panther Learning Center may have a variable schedule of days and times not to exceed the normal contracted defined totals in a given year. Approval for schedules is through the Director of Alternative Learning.
