Part-Time Optometrist | Outpatient Clinic

Part-Time Optometrist (OD) – Wichita, Kansas

Schedule: 4–7 weekdays per month (Monday and/or Friday preferred)

Compensation: $900 per day/visit

Position Type: Independent Contractor (1099)

Comprehensive Mobile Care (CMC) is seeking a Part-Time Optometrist to provide high-quality vision care within a structured, outpatient clinic-based environment in Wichita, Kansas. This role allows you to practice meaningful, mission-driven care without the administrative burden of running your own practice.

You’ll serve as an integrated member of a coordinated clinical team supporting senior populations in a predictable, organized setting.

• Full-time clinic staff on-site
• Organized scheduling and patient flow
• Collaborative, team-based care environment

• All equipment, supplies, scheduling, and billing handled by CMC

• Perform comprehensive eye exams and vision assessments
• Diagnose and manage common ocular conditions within your scope
• Prescribe corrective lenses and provide treatment recommendations
• Partner with clinic staff as part of an integrated care team
• Deliver patient-centered care in a structured outpatient environment

• Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited program
• Active Kansas optometry license
• Experience with senior populations preferred
• Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
• Comfortable practicing in outpatient clinic settings

• 4–7 weekdays per month (Monday and/or Friday preferred)
• Typical hours: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• No nights
• No weekends
• No billing or administrative responsibilities
