Job Purpose
The Tools & Equipment Assembler position will work collaboratively with the Manufacturing Team to assemble a wide variety of sub-assemblies, tools, and equipment using a range of production methods. Assemblers work as part of a team, responsible for assembling an entire product or component, performing all tasks in the assembly process, and rotating through most or all tasks rather than being permanently assigned to a specific task.
Duties & Responsibilities- Adheres to company polices and presents a professional, positive attitude at all times.
- Review work orders to ensure work is performed according to specifications.
- Perform work according to standardized work procedures.
- Assemble a variety of different components into assemblies (pumps, motors, hose, valves, gauges, fittings, screws, connectors, etc.).
- Use variety of tools to perform work (wrenches, air tools, vise, screwdrivers, electric drills).
- Perform quality checks on products and parts.
- Rotate through all the tasks required in a particular production process.
- Clean work areas.
- Communicate production level to Management.
- Maintain production equipment and tools.
- Work with and/or train employees on job procedures.
- Perform work in a safe and efficient manner.
- Perform work in a fast-paced environment.
- Diagnose/troubleshoot quality issues and repair accordingly.
- Operate automated production equipment (robotics, CNC router, crimpers, banders) with minimal supervision.
- Can complete complex assemblies with minimal supervision.
- Ability to set up most jobs for any production process according to specifications.
- Has exceptional working knowledge of final assembly and subcomponent processes.
- Consistently meets or exceeds quality and/or run time expectations for all production processes.
- Achieve specified level of competency in one of three work centers (Equipment Production, Tool Production, and General Assembly/Parts Production).
- Other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- (1-3) years of Production Manufacturing Experience preferred.
- On-the-job training will be provided for specific job assignments.
Mon
- Thurs. 5am - 3:30pm or Mon
- Thurs 6am - 3:30pm and Friday 6am - 10am
