Schedule:

Night shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
12-hour shifts

Essential qualifications:

Active RN license
Current BLS and ACLS certifications (REQUIRED)
Demonstrated experience in a telemetry or step-down environment
Proficiency with PCA pumps, IV pumps, and chest tubes
Solid critical thinking, communication, and independent practice skills
Positive, engaged attitude and ability to function effectively under pressure

Preferred experience:

Skilled in central line management, administering medication drips, and post-heart cath recovery
Familiarity with bubble studies
Previous use of Meditech EMR is an asset

Responsibilities:

Deliver high-quality nursing care to a mixed telemetry patient population
Monitor cardiac rhythms and provide recovery care for post-procedural heart catheterization patients
Collaborate within a cohesive night shift team of RNs and patient care techs
Adhere to unit protocols and ensure best practices for patient safety and outcomes
Communicate with physicians and multidisciplinary staff to implement and evaluate treatment plans
Support patient education and participate in quality improvement initiatives
