US Heart and Vascular is in need of a Part-time Registered Nurse to join our team at Heartland Cardiology in Wichita, KS.
Responsibilities- Conduct patient assessments including physical exams and health histories.
- Administer medications and vaccinations.
- Monitor chronic conditions and provide management strategies.
- Educate patients on health maintenance and disease prevention.
- Coordinate with physicians to deliver integrated care.
- Maintain accurate patient records and charts.
- Follow up on patient test results and referrals.
- Manage acute health episodes.
- Provide counseling and support to patients and families.
- Advocate for patients’ health needs.
- Implement infection control protocols.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives within the practice.
- A degree from an accredited Nursing program with a current unrestricted State Nursing (RN) license.
- Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification.
- CLIA II Waived Analyzers certification.
- Experience in a clinical setting.
