Registered Nurse ED

Role:

Provides critical nursing care in an emergency department setting, leading clinical responses for patients in acute distress, coordinating multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring seamless patient care transitions.

• Implement and adapt care plans prioritizing life-saving interventions.
• Coordinate care as the primary team leader, ensuring effective communication among specialists.
• Monitor patient conditions, communicate critical changes, and advocate for safety.
• Execute physician orders accurately, following clinical protocols with expertise.
• Collaborate on discharge and admission plans for patient stability and recovery.

• Licensed Registered Nurse from the Kansas Board of Nursing.
• Certifications:
  
  BLS, Advanced Life Support, and Pediatric Advanced Life Support within specified time frames, accepted from AHA or Red Cross.
• Educational requirement:
  Nursing diploma or equivalent licensure.

Lead emergency response efforts, ensure patient safety, execute complex orders, and facilitate effective care transitions.
