Grocery Clerk

The Kroger Company - 200 West Greenway Street - Responsibilities:
Assist customers with finding and selecting items and answering questions to enhance the shopping experience;
Inform customers about specials and recommended products to meet their needs;
Check product quality and freshness and review sell-by dates;
Stock, label, and inventory department merchandise and report discrepancies to management;
Maintain proper temperatures in cases and coolers and keep temperature logs;
Provide knowledge about products and respond to customer inquiries;
Create a welcoming environment for customers and assist with product questions throughout the store;
Adhere to safety procedures and report unsafe conditions to management;
Assist with equipment inspections and notify about repairs;
Notify management of customer or employee incidents;
Work cooperatively in a fast-paced and sometimes stressful environment;
Manage conflicts in a calm and cooperative manner;
Operate with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information;
Follow directions and seek help to resolve customer and business issues;
Provide support to customers including minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults
