We are pleased to be recruiting passionate and dedicated early years professionals to join our Good-rated Ofsted nursery in Derby. We currently have two exciting opportunities available for flexible, caring, and motivated individuals who are committed to providing high-quality early years education.
Available Roles- 1 x Room Leader - Flexible across rooms (Level 3 qualification required)
- 2 x Nursery Practitioner - Flexible with room placement (Level 2 or Level 3 qualification required)
As a room leader, you will take a lead role in supporting high-quality practice within your room, guiding staff, and ensuring excellent outcomes for children. This room leader position is ideal for an experienced practitioner looking to progress into leadership. A successful room leader will be confident, organised, and passionate about early years care and education.
The Nursery Practitioner RoleAs a practitioner, you will support children's learning and development in a warm, nurturing environment. Our practitioner roles offer flexibility across rooms and suit individuals who enjoy teamwork and continuous improvement. Every practitioner plays a vital role in delivering outstanding care.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality care and education as a practitioner
- Support children's development in line with the EYFS
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and the room leader
- Maintain a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment
- Contribute positively as a practitioner within the wider team
- Room Leader role:
Level 3 Early Years qualification (essential) - Practitioner roles:
Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification - Previous experience in an early years setting preferred
- A flexible, professional, and positive approach to work
- Salary: £25,000 - £29,000 per year (depending on role and experience)
- Full-time hours: 30-40 hours per week, Monday to Friday
