Commercial Gas Engineer – Derby / Nottinghamshire
Salary: £45,000 + £3,000 Sign-On Bonus
Location:
Derby, Nottingham, Nottinghamshire
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
The Role
We are recruiting an experienced Commercial Gas Engineer / Commercial Gas Breakdown Engineer to carry out commercial gas servicing, maintenance, and breakdown repairs across Derby and Nottinghamshire. Working on commercial boilers and heating systems, this is a mobile role within the facilities maintenance sector.
Hours
* Monday–Friday: 08:00–17:30
* 30 mins travel time at start & end of day (contracted, unpaid)
* Saturday rota: 1 in 4 (08:00–16:00)
Package
* £45,000 basic salary
* £3,000 sign-on bonus (£1,500 at 6 months / £1,500 at 12 months)
* Company van & mobile phone
* Commercial gas testing equipment & PPE
* 20 days holiday + 8 bank holidays (rising with service)
(Own hand & power tools required)
Requirements
* 5+ years’ commercial gas breakdown & maintenance experience
* Gas Safe registered Commercial Gas Engineer
* ACS: CCN1, CEN1/CENWAT, CPA1
* One or more: CIGA1, CDGA1, TPCP1/TPCP1A, ICPN1
* Full UK driving licence
