About the Position
Pediatric Opportunity in SW Louisiana
Join a respected regional health system where your outpatient pediatric expertise can make a meaningful difference in a close-knit community. This opportunity offers excellent stability, a steady referral base, and the chance to help shape a growing clinic presence. The position is outpatient-focused, with minimal nursery call and flexible involvement in inpatient care.
Practice Overview
You'll join a team with one pediatrician, one pediatric NP, and rotating specialists in a shared outpatient clinic
100% outpatient care with no inpatient responsibilities unless desired
Nursery call one weekend per month, including occasional ER consults and rare deliveries
Primary clinic site will be a new facility opening in late spring, unless filled sooner
Schedule
Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM with one weekend nursery call per month
No night shifts or hospital rounding unless preferred
Average daily volume 20-25/day
Full-spectrum pediatric care from newborns through age 17
Compensation & Benefits
$275,000 base salary plus RVU bonuses and ACO shared savings
Signing bonus and relocation support (negotiable)
Eligible for student loan repayment programs
28 days of front-loaded PTO, $3,000 CME stipend, and comprehensive benefits package
Candidate Requirements
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics
Open to recent grads, IMGs, and experienced candidates
Strong interest in outpatient care and team collaboration
Leadership or committee participation interest welcomed
