RN - MedSurg

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Med Surg Floor team. The facility is a community-owned, not-for-profit hospital, Joint Commission Accredited, focusing on medical and surgical patients. The role may also include occasional responsibilities with post-partum and pediatric patients. Please note that we can only accept travel RNs from agencies compliant with the Louisiana Department of Health Nurse Staffing Agencies List.

Additionally, travel staff who reside within a 50-mile radius of the facility will not be considered.

• Provide nursing care to medical and surgical patients.
• Monitor patient health and report changes to the medical team.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Educate patients and families on health conditions and care plans.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to enhance patient care.

• Current Registered Nurse license in the state of Louisiana.
• Experience in Med Surge nursing preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
