This role involves working in a high-volume Labor and Delivery department, averaging around 30-40 births per month. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive nursing care to mothers and newborns during labor and delivery.
Responsibilities- Monitor and assess the condition of laboring patients.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families.
- Assist with the delivery of newborns and immediate post-delivery care.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- Active RN license in the state of practice.
- Recent experience in Labor and Delivery.
- Joint Commission Accredited agencies only.
