Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical-Surgical (Med-Surg)
A Med-Surg RN provides direct patient care for adults with a wide range of medical conditions and post-surgical needs. This role focuses on patient assessment, care coordination, and recovery support in a fast-paced hospital setting.
Assess, monitor, and document patients’ conditions and vital signs.
Develop and implement individualized care plans.
Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments as prescribed.
Provide pre- and post-operative care.
Monitor for changes in patient status and respond to complications.
Collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team to ensure optimal care.
Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
Ensure adherence to safety, infection control, and quality standards.
Active RN license.
BLS certification (ACLS preferred/required based on facility).
Minimum 1–2 years of Med-Surg or acute care experience preferred.
Strong clinical and organizational skills.
Ability to manage multiple patients in a fast-paced environment.
