Paraprofessional​/Bus Monitor

Job Description

We are actively seeking experienced Paraprofessionals for full-time positions within school districts in the Exeter, NH area. As a Paraprofessional, you will play a crucial role in supporting students' educational and behavioral needs. We are looking for dedicated individuals who meet all local and state requirements to apply.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent (required)
• Completion of a Paraprofessional training program or equivalent (preferred)
• Experience working with children in an educational or childcare setting (preferred)
• Ability to pass a background check and obtain necessary clearances as required by local and state regulations
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team
• Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic educational environment

Responsibilities:

• Assist classroom teachers with implementing lesson plans and instructional materials
• Provide one-on-one or small group support to students with special needs or learning challenges
• Assist with classroom management and behavior reinforcement strategies
• Support students during transitions between activities or locations within the school
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students
• Collaborate with teachers and other school staff to address student needs and progress
• Maintain confidentiality regarding student information and records
