Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of students with diverse learning needs? Soliant Education is currently seeking seven dedicated Special Education Teachers for the school year in the Barrington, New Hampshire area.
Position: Special Education Teacher Location: Barrington, New Hampshire area Employment Term: School Year Number of Openings: 7 Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours/day (7:15 am - 2:30 pm)
Grade Level: Middle School (15-20 students per class)
- Provide specialized instruction and support to students with diverse learning needs in a middle school setting.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for each student on caseload.
- Deliver direct instruction in academic subjects, social skills, and executive functioning skills.
- Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
- Conduct ongoing assessments to monitor student progress and adjust instruction accordingly.
- Attend and actively participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings.
- Support students' social-emotional development and behavior management needs.
- Valid certification in Special Education in New Hampshire (or eligibility for certification).
- Experience working with middle school students with diverse learning needs preferred.
- Strong understanding of special education laws, regulations, and best practices.
- Excellent munication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
- Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students.
