Our client is looking caring, nurturing, and energetic Early Childhood Teachers to join their premier preschool in Derry, NH.
- These are Direct Hire positions with the school
- Full-time and Part-Time;
Monday-Friday; year-round employment
- Lead and Associate Teachers: working withthe age group of your choice between infants and toddlers!
- Shift:Full-time positions include a standard schedule within operating hours, while part-time positions focus on closing shifts. Part-time schedules are flexible and are not required to be Monday through Friday!
- Lead Teachers: $19.00-$22.00/hour pending education, credentials, and professional Early Childhood Education experience
- Associate Teachers: $15.00-$19.00/hour pending education, credentials, and professional Early Childhood Education experience
- Professional Development Assistance; 18 paid hours and they provide whatever is needed
- Paid Holidays; 11 holidays and paid week between the week of Christmas and New Years Day
- Health/Dental Insurance;
Employer pays 50% of premium - Child-Enrollment Discount; $125 per week and per child
- Continuing Education Assistance
- Paid Time Off; 5 days
- 401(k) with match
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children
- Responsible for the planning and implementation of age-appropriate activities and curriculum as well as the maintenance of educational portfolios
- Supervise and engage children in educational and play activities
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom
- Monitor and ensure the well-being of each child in your care
- Communicate with parents about their child's progress and any concerns
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a positive learning environment
- Participate in training sessions, workshops, and staff meetings to enhance your skills and stay updated on best practices in early childhood education
- REQUIRED Lead Teacher
Education:
18 Early Childhood Education courses/credits OR Child Development Associate Certification (CDA)
OR Associate's degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or a related field - REQUIRED Lead Teacher
Experience:
1 year of experience working with children between 6 weeks and 5 years old in any capacity - REQUIRED Associate Teacher Education/
Experience:
9 Early Childhood Education credits
OR
a completed Child Growth and Development class
OR
Child Development Associate Certification (CDA)
OR
1000 hours in an Early Childhood Education licensed facility - Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. in connection with the handling of children for the facilitation of programs, child safety, and potential emergency situations - for Infant and Young Toddler Teachers, must be able to properly lift infants into and out of a crib
- Must meet background check eligibility
