General Manager - Hotel

Historic lakeside inn and four-season destination in the Lakes Region of New Hampshire offering guest accommodations, lakefront recreation, on-site dining, a restaurant and bar, weddings, private events, and seasonal programming.

We are seeking an experienced General Manager to oversee a stunning, lakeside property where lodging, food & beverage, and a significant events business operate together. This position requires a hands-on operator who understands the demands of a seasonal destination property and can deliver a consistent guest experience across all areas of the operation.

• Oversee lodging, guest services, housekeeping, food & beverage, events, and seasonal operations.
• Oversee the coordination and execution of weddings, private celebrations, corporate functions, retreats, and other events ensuring effective coordination across departments and a consistently high guest experience.
• Oversee restaurant and bar operations, including staffing, service standards, guest experience, and event-related Food & Beverage.
• Manage department heads and staff to maintain consistent hospitality standards across lodging, dining, and events.
• Manage budgets, labor, purchasing, expenses, revenue, and overall property profitability.
• Develop relationships with guests, event clients, local businesses, and community partners to generate repeat and group business.

• Previous General Manager or senior management experience in a hotel, inn, resort, or comparable full-service hospitality property.
• Strong Food & Beverage management experience, including responsibility for restaurant or bar operations.
• Experience overseeing weddings, private events, group functions, or other event-driven hospitality business.
• Experience managing multiple hospitality departments with responsibility for staffing, service standards, and operating performance.
• Strong understanding of hotel/inn financial management, including budgeting, labor costs, purchasing, revenue, and profitability.
• Hospitality sales experience preferred, particularly experience with weddings, events, group business, or destination properties.
• Experience with seasonal or destination hospitality operations preferred.
