Registered Nurse Cardiac Cath Lab

Overview

Vivian Concierge is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Cardiac Cath Lab for a nursing job in Derry, New Hampshire.

• Assist in providing total care of the patient before, during, and after procedures, including physical, emotional, spiritual, and cultural support.
• Communicate with patients, team members, and management in an accurate, timely manner.
• Document in a complete and timely manner; use computer charting appropriately.
• Apply critical thinking and consider alternatives; organize multitask workload and prioritize care for multiple patients.
• Develop and maintain human care relationships; promote teamwork among care providers.
• Triaging according to Emergency Nursing Association systems; assess and reassess responses to medications and treatments.
• Acknowledge the impact of illness/hospitalization on patients and families; adapt care for diverse populations; advocate for clients  needs; act ethically and legally.
• Provide age-appropriate care with knowledge of expected norms; apply new data to improve care.
• Perform and document instrument maintenance; conduct quality control and troubleshoot instruments as appropriate.
• Deliver teaching focused on health promotion and assess barriers to learning.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to coordinate care and ensure patient safety.

• Active New Hampshire nursing license.
• American Heart Association BCLS certification.
• American Heart Association ACLS certification within 30 days of hire.
• Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing; BSN preferred.
• Minimum Two Years of Cath Lab and Interventions experience.
• Minimum of five years nursing experience.
