About the Position

Key Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive assessments and reassessments

Interpret dysrhythmias and provide telemetry monitoring

Administer medications, IV therapy, and PCA management

Monitor patient conditions and respond to changes in status

Perform patient education and discharge teaching

Document all care accurately using Meditech Expanse

Participate in bedside care conferences

Perform safety rounding and ensure best practices

Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams

Float to appropriate units as needed

Requirements

Required Skills & Experience
Must Have:

Minimum  1 year acute care experience

Strong dysrhythmia interpretation skills

Proficiency with telemetry monitoring

Ability to manage 1:6 patient load

Preferred:

Experience across Med Surg & Tele combined units

Strong communication and time‑management skills

Certifications Required

BLS (AHA)

ACLS
