Position: School LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) | Derry, New Hampshire

In this role, you will accompany the student in a van to and from out-of-district schools, ensuring safety and attending to any medical needs throughout the journey.

This student has mobility challenges, so your attentive, compassionate care will be vital.

Key

Qualifications:

• Current LPN/LVN licensure in the state of New Hampshire
• Previous experience in school nursing or pediatric care preferred
• Familiarity with assisting individuals with mobility issues is a plus
• Ability to remain calm and responsive in medical situations
• Strong communication skills and a cooperative, team-oriented mindset
• Up-to-date CPR and First Aid certification required

Responsibilities:

• Provide vigilant care and support for a medically intensive student during transport
• Maintain a safe environment within the vehicle, delivering necessary medical attention as needed
• Collaborate with school staff, transportation personnel, and families to ensure continuity of care
• Complete basic documentation and reporting for each journey
• Support the student's comfort, safety, and dignity at all times
