American Traveler is hiring a Travel RN for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) position requiring 2 years of hospital PCU experience and an active compact RN license.
Details- Progressive Care Unit (PCU) within a hospital setting
- 20-bed unit staffed with 5 RNs and 2 LNAs, with flexing based on patient volume
- Day shift staffed with 5 RNs and night shift staffed with 5 RNs
- Patient ratio of 4:1
- Uses GE cardiac monitoring and Hospira IV pumps
- EMR system is Expanse
- Shift schedule is 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM over a 13-week assignment
- Floating required to Med Surg, ICU (for border patients), and the Emergency Department (for ED holds)
- Every other weekend rotation required, or equivalent based on staffing needs
