Rhino Medical is leading the charge seeking experienced Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) for an ASAP – Ongoing locum tenens opportunity in Derry, New Hampshire.

This is an attractive long-term opportunity for CRNAs seeking a daytime anesthesia practice with no call, flexible 8- and 10-hour shifts, and a diverse surgical case mix without hearts, OB, or neuro/head cases.

CRNAs practice within a medically directed anesthesia care model, perform regional blocks, and support adult and select pediatric cases.

Clinical Scope

CRNAs support a diverse anesthesia service including:

• General Surgery
• Orthopedics
• Endoscopy / GI
• Gynecology
• Urology
• Vascular Surgery
• Podiatry
• Minor Cardiac Procedures
• Pediatric Dental
• Pediatric ENT, including ear tubes
• Regional anesthesia / blocks

Pediatric cases may include patients 6 months of age and older.

This creates a broad enough case mix to remain clinically engaging without several of the service lines that frequently drive call and higher-complexity anesthesia assignments.

Practice Environment

CRNAs work within a medically directed anesthesia care team and are responsible for perioperative anesthesia care consistent with their privileges and assigned cases.

Responsibilities include:

• Pre-anesthesia assessment
• Development and implementation of anesthetic plans
• Patient education regarding anesthetic options and risks
• Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
• Continuous physiologic monitoring
• Appropriate intraoperative clinical intervention
• Regional anesthesia as credentialed
• Post-anesthesia transition and clinical documentation
• Collaboration with anesthesiologists, surgeons, nursing, and perioperative teams

Candidate Requirements

• Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist
• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Anesthesia program
• Current NBCRNA certification/recertification
• Appropriate active New Hampshire licensure
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS
• Comfortable with the required surgical case mix
• Comfortable with select pediatric anesthesia down to 6 months
• Regional block competency appropriate to assigned cases
• Clean professional and credentialing history strongly preferred
