Qualifications:
- Current, unrestricted LPN license required
- Previous experience in pediatric, school, or 1:1 nursing (preferred)
- Comfortable working in a school environment and collaborating closely with educational staff
- Able to deliver compassionate, proactive care
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Preferred Experience or Willingness (please specify your comfort level for each in your application):
- Trach care
- G-tube support
- Ventilator experience
- Seizure management
- Diabetic care
- Assistance with toileting
- Bus riding with students
- Support with academic activities as needed
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 health support to assigned student according to their individualized plan
- Address complex medical needs, including potential use of medical equipment
- Communicate effectively with school staff, parents, and healthcare providers
- Ensure safety and well-being of student during classroom hours and while riding the bus if assigned
- Support academic participation through appropriate assistance
