Maintenance Technician, Environment Testing

Eurofins Environment Testing is looking for a Maintenance Technician in our Derry, New Hampshire laboratory. This position will perform a variety of janitorial and maintenance duties in support of laboratory operations and assists in shipping and receiving as needed.

• Remove trash and recyclables from all laboratory areas daily.
• Separate recyclable trash into appropriate bins.
• Perform daily maintenance activities.
• Stock all copy machines with paper daily.
• Serve as a back‑up for the shipping and receiving department.
• Prepare bottle kits with chemicals as needed.
• Drive to client sites to pick up samples as needed.
• All other duties as assigned by Manager.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• High school Chemistry or Biology coursework a plus.
• Basic laboratory experience a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds comfortably.
• Demonstrated effective communication skills and ability to relate well to people in direct communication.
• Consciousness of and a positive attitude toward quality, service and safety procedures.
• Hazardous waste training will be provided.
• Material handling training will be provided.
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.
• Must have a valid US driver’s license without recent incident. Will drive company‑provided vehicle.
• Professional working proficiency in English is a requirement, including the ability to read, write and speak in English.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Please note, Eurofins Environment Testing (USA) provides a compensation range for informational purposes; the actual base salary may vary based on relevant experience and skill set, internal peer salary, business sector, and geographic location.
