Description

Sten Tech is seeking a reliable and motivated Assembly Technician to join our team in Derry, NH. In this role you will be responsible for performing the final assembly, inspection, and auditing of related products to ensure they meet all customer, company, and quality specifications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-compliant work environment while following ISO, OSHA, and company standards
  • Verify prior production steps and documentation are completed before final processing or inspection
  • Set up, operate, and monitor assigned production equipment while ensuring safe and accurate operation
  • Perform routine preventative maintenance and equipment checks as required
  • Assemble products in accordance with Sten Tech standards, approved work instructions, and datasheets
  • Handle and stage materials properly using approved product handling techniques to prevent damage
  • Verify hardware and product configurations against Sten Tech standards and specifications
  • Ensure products meet cosmetic cleanliness, deburring, accuracy, quality, and functionality requirements prior to shipment
  • Conduct final inspections and audits prior to shipment using visual and measurement techniques to verify conformity to specifications and standards
  • Accurately document inspection results, quality data, and equipment performance using established systems
  • Identify and report non-conforming products, missing documentation, incorrect dimensions, equipment issues, or low inventory concerns to appropriate personnel and assist with corrective actions as directed
  • Communicate professionally with production, engineering, and quality teams regarding product status, process concerns, and recurring engineering or documentation issues
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support production and operational goals
Work Schedule
  • Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Prior experience in manufacturing, assembly, or quality inspection environment preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to recognize product and process discrepancies.
  • Working knowledge of inspection methods, measurement tools, and visual standards.
  • Ability to interpret work orders.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey information accurately and professionally.
  • Demonstrated organizational skills, positive attitude, and teamwork orientation.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast paced, results driven manufacturing environment.
  • Must pass all required drug, background, and compliance screenings.
  • Willingness to work rotating shifts, weekends, callouts, and overtime as required.
