Certified Water Operator, Eurofins Drinking Water and Waste Water Northeast, Derry NH Job Description
Eurofins Drinking Water and Wastewater Northeast, laboratory in Derry, NH is currently hiring for the position of Certified Water Operator. The position will complete routine drinking water system equipment checks and perform drinking water sample collection at small public water systems throughout the state of NH. Additional duties will include regular maintenance and monitoring of water system components, and communication with both clients and the New Hampshire Department of Environmental Services (NHDES) and helping clients to maintain compliances with NHDES requirements for a public drinking water system.
Position is based out of Derry, NH with service locations throughout New Hampshire.
This position is full time Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:00pm with OT as needed. Compensation is $21-24/hour plus benefits offered after 30 days.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Collect drinking water samples for small public water systems and residential clients filling out the appropriate chain of custody paperwork.
- Review NHDES master sampling schedules to ensure all required testing is completed on time.
- Plan driving routes to efficiently service multiple clients and locations each day.
- Transport samples back to the primary laboratory and base of operations in Derry NH.
- Complete routine data collection and equipment checks for small public water system clients.
- Safe driving to and from job sites.
- Regularly communicate actions and information regarding public water system equipment conditions to direct manager.
