• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and fuel systems in small engines

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Possessing a valid driver's license and being skilled in using various tools and diagnostic equipment is a plus!

Join our team at Groundhog Landscaping and enjoy a consistent Monday through Friday schedule from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM. This schedule allows you to work regular hours and have weekends off to relax and recharge.

In your role as our Small Engine Mechanic, you meticulously perform routine maintenance and repairs on various small engine equipment, including hydro mowers, trimmers, chainsaws, and snowplows, ensuring that each machine operates at peak performance. When mechanical and electrical issues arise, your expertise shines as you diagnose and implement effective solutions, allowing the team to work seamlessly. Each task is accompanied by detailed record-keeping, a testament to your commitment to precision and accountability.

Managing the inventory of parts and supplies is second nature to you, as you diligently ensure that every component is readily available, maintaining an efficient workflow. Throughout the day, your keen eye ensures that all equipment complies with safety regulations and company standards, knowing that the well-being of the team and the quality of our services depend on your expertise.
