Field Service Technician – Portsmouth, NH and surrounding area.

As a Field Service Technician, you will collaborate with a skilled team in Carl Zeiss Industrial Quality Solutions, LLC. You will focus on installation, servicing, and design support for custom equipment, working with customers and cross‑functional service groups to deliver ZEISS products into the field.

• Install, repair, troubleshoot, service, and calibrate high‑tech machines at customer locations.
• Demonstrate strong customer‑service skills with passion and dedication.
• Learn new skills on high‑tech CMMs (Coordinate Measuring Machines) using mechanical and electronic aptitude.
• Complete necessary administrative paperwork accurately.
• Operate solutions‑oriented and work independently in a high‑pressure, fast‑paced environment.
• Travel 100% within the United States; international travel as needed.
• Perform other duties as required.

• High school graduate or GED equivalent.
• AS/BS in Electronics, Industrial Mechanics, or related field; or 4 years related experience.
• Prior experience with hand tools and basic electrical test equipment.
• Microsoft operating‑system knowledge.
• Capable of unaided lift of up to 75 pounds.
• Willingness to work a minimum of 50 hours per week, including overtime.
• Ability to work on an industrial production shop floor.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Excellent communication and customer‑service aptitude.

• Experience installing and troubleshooting industrial electronics, machines, or computer systems.
• Experience with CMM installation and troubleshooting (preferred but not required).
