Fixed Assets Manager (Inventory Control Supervisor)
Department of Safety, Division of Administration, Assets and Resource Management Bureau, Concord NH 03305. Position #17109. Salary: $17.81/hour - $23.39/hour. 40‑hour week, non‑exempt.
SummaryManage receipt, issue, control, and physical inventory of all fixed assets for the Department of Safety and maintain accurate records and financial status reports.
Minimum Qualifications- Education/
Experience:
Equivalent combination of 2 years of education and experience after high school in business administration, logistics, warehouse operations, supply chain, inventory, operations management or related field. - License/Certification:
Valid driver’s license. - Other Requirements:
Successful fingerprint‑based criminal background check and motor vehicle record check.
- Experience with asset or inventory database or software.
- Experience in physical inventory, inventory management, inventory reporting.
- Conduct ongoing physical inventory audits of all fixed assets to ensure accurate tracking and accountability.
- Inspect incoming equipment, furniture, and other property; assign and apply fixed asset tags per departmental procedures.
- Coordinate and facilitate physical inventory operations statewide to maintain accurate asset records and reporting.
- Reconcile inventory receipts, transfers, relocations, and surplus disposals in the fixed asset database to ensure data integrity.
- Maintain organized inventory records and supporting documentation for audits, compliance reviews, and year‑end reporting.
- Assist with equipment setup, relocation, and transportation for divisions.
- Prepare surplus equipment and required documentation for transfer to White Farm; handle equipment weighing up to 40 pounds and prepare pallets for transport.
- Perform assigned supervisory duties, including training staff, coordinating work assignments, and assisting with employee performance evaluations.
