- You will be responsible for running the bar operation during the shift, whilst supporting the bar team. Some of your duties will include team management, financial performance and guest engagement, all to ensure our guests receive nothing but the best experience.
- You’ll show flexibility and creativity in dealing with guests’ special requests and any challenge that may arise during the day.
- Supervise the bar team, coach and train new staff, manage rotas, and motivate the team to deliver excellent service.
- Help control budgets, manage stock levels, oversee ordering, and work towards achieving sales targets and profit margins.
- Ensure adherence to licensing laws, health & safety regulations, and company policies.
- Act as the person in charge during the bar manager’s absence, overseeing all aspects of the bar.
- Drive the team in menu innovation, promotional events, and long‑term business planning.
- You’ll act as a mentor, identifying training needs and implementing plans to ensure every team member masters the art of service from complex mixology to sophisticated wine, champagne and food service.
- Maintain good communication and work relationships in all hotel areas and with external customers and suppliers.
- Oversee maintenance and cleanliness of the bar and equipment, adhering to health and safety standards.
- Schedule staff efficiently to meet business needs while maintaining labour cost controls.
- Stay updated with the latest F&B trends.
- Set performance expectations, provide regular feedback, and conduct performance evaluations.
- Drive marketing activation along with the bar manager.

- Minimum 2 years’ experience as an Assistant Bar Manager or similar position in a 5‑star hotel.
- Strong verbal communication skills – English is the primary language used in our hotel.
